Been in finance for 20 years. He didn’t crash the market. Other markets down 30-50 %. Ours down much less. He can’t control the mass media scaring people into selling. You’re clueless. He didn’t cause people to sell. Media created the panic. Look out what the markets did with other pandemics. Weren’t hyped and covered closely and they didn’t do much to markets. Wife and I are in panic mode! While the folks at Costco today were stocking up on toilet paper, Clorox wipes etc, For many years of RVing, we use only one side of the TP and save it to use the other side before we flush it down the toilette. We headed to the Scotch and the Jack Daniels and loaded our cart... Then to the meds for some baby aspirin as well as bacon and eggs. from the coolers Will hunker down and not venture out now that we have enough Scotch and Jack for a few months...May have to venture out to Total wine for some Pacifico Beer, but that is becoming very risky.... I am now at my keyboard using latex gloves as I will no touch the keys out of fear I might infect myself, even though no one else touches the keyboard..

I lost my decade+ finance job in December of 2007 when our bank went under so I have a dog in this race. I also know who signed the $700 billion Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 into law which started the bailout saga, so let's not get partisan or bring politics into this, please. Whoever is in charge at the time of a crisis will do what they think is necessary to alleviate the issue, Republican or Democrat.
