Was looking around some today online and came back across this Bizon Snowplow! Look like a really interesting product for those of us in the northern states looking at some good snow this winter!

Putting information in on Real truck's website though shows that this is not available for the Ranger. If you look closely at the mount, it mounts in a front 2" hitch receiver, and no wires or cables or anything to run, just a mechanical plow that uses gravity to keep it planted. Wondering if anyone has seen a front hitch mount for the Rangers yet? My quick searches could return anything, but would be be nice to have that for things like a hitch mounts winch tray and this plow! Could still use the setup on the rear of the truck though!

I don't think it'd be too much fun to use without being able to lift it up or tilt it... it'd be okay if you just have a long straight single driveway though!

Agreed, not meant for larger plowing jobs! But the small single drive is exactly what I have, so for that, it would be pretty nice! And for not having to install any wiring and more permanent mounts for a snow plow, it would work for small jobs I think! Plus it's pretty light weight!

hahaha. OMG, if i used that for anything, i'm sure i'd smash it into a curb and render it useless in a matter of minutes.
Agreed! Maybe for South Florida around Miami or here in the Southwest were we get an inch of snow once every 10 years?

For a small driveway a snowblower would probably work better but likely not as much fun.

Yeah, that's what I have now, and it works most of the time, but I have had some times, including last weeks snowstorm, that the snow became such wet snow that every few feet, it kept packing the chute of the snowblower shut and then leading to just pushing the snow and not actually throwing it. Plus, I hate driving over snow on the driveway if i don't have to because it's always harder to get off the driveway after it has been driven over, so I try to clear before i go to work, which is at like 6 or 6:30 AM, so it would be cool to have a plow to get everything in one swipe down the driveway as opposed to multiple passes! Just playing around with some ideas and daydreaming in my head!

However for the price different between the plow and my second hand 65$ snowblower, then obviously, I would agree the price probably doesn't justify the difference and the use and a snowblower gets the job done! But I definitely think it would be cool to have anyways! Haha!

I am on of those guys who doesn't believe something can't be done. So here is a fully functional Myers plow on my 2019 Ranger! It works awesome and the truck has plenty of power. You just can't drive with the plow fully raised as it blocks too much airflow to the radiator. It won't overheat but it messes up the outside air temp sensor.

I was wondering when the first person would put a real plow on their Ranger. Been interested in seeing one. Looks good! Not interested in doing it myself, since our driveway isn't long enough (100' x 40') and we don't get enough snow (80-100" a year) to warrant one in my opinion.

Unfortunately where I live I would have to stay home until it melts if I did that.

You could just put on some snow tires, put your Ranger in 4X4, lock the diff and blast thru. Been there done that.

That works for me but not my wife.

And that only works for a little while. The snow I haven't cleared or touched in my yard has piled well over my waist. No amount of snow tires, 4WD, locking diff, or chains will help you get through that.

I can relate. Didn't even try the driveway this time until the snowblower did it's work. .

I think it’s cheaper to just get an old ATV and attach a plow. I have a 1998 Kawasaki Prairie 400 (All Wheel Drive) with a plow, it will push a lot of snow much faster than a snow blower. I add a bag of sand to the front and rear racks when I want to really heavy deep wet snow; plenty of power and traction. And it has a tight turning radius. I stow it under my deck during the summer; sometimes I lend it out to friends for camping trips. I keep up the maintenance but the thing just won’t die.
