  1. Old man EMU rear spring install

Well, all things considered Iā€™m very happy with the springs, they are performing phenomenally. Much softer than OEM around town and it can more suitabley handle a bigger load. This is fantastic for the 7x14 enclosed trailer Iā€™ll be pulling. The Bilsteins are great, no doubt, but I think the...
  2. Old man EMU rear spring install

Just for further clarification on this. Hereā€™s the same explanation, worded slightly different. I received two ā€œ+ā€ leaf springs and I wanted to make sure I didnā€™t need a ā€œ+ā€ for the DS and a ā€-ā€œ for the PS. I reached out to Frank at Stage3, he got this info from ARB: Here is the response from...
  3. Old man EMU rear spring install

Hey stag, any ride reports now that the rear leaf springs have broken in and youā€™ve put some miles on them? I have fox 2.0ā€˜s in the front and rear and will be adding the OME 1.7ā€ leaf pack on my ranger. I decided to go ahead and purchase the Bilstein 5160 rear shocks with the remote reservoirs...
  4. Phone mount suggestions? Products, and placement in the truck?

Wow, this is slick! I watched the install video; this is exactly what I was looking for, a custom mount specifically for the Ranger. No way this mount is going to fail. Just ordered one! Hereā€™s the link for anyone interested. Click here for link
  5. Tire Size Fitment Master Thread

I think I meant stock ride height but I ended up with 275/65R18s (Falken WildPeak AT3W) tires on mine while adding the 2ā€ BDS leveling kit. And then at a later date Icon tubular upper control arms to correct a slight camber issue that would ultimately cause uneven wear on the outer tread of the...
  6. Diamondback Covers

I like my diamond plating with LineX, but I have to say it looks equally good when itā€™s smooth metal. I have been nothing but impressed with quality and functionality of my HD cover.
  7. ATV on a Diamondback HD cover

I havenā€™t had any ATVs on it since that occasion. If Iā€™m being perfectly honest it would be way easier to just hook up a rented trailer and move it that way. Loading it up on the cover was a total pain, now obviously if I had the installed side-loading ATV accessory from Diamondback it would...
  8. ATV on a Diamondback HD cover

1999 Kawasaki Prairie 400. Itā€™s my snowplow ATV.
  9. Install advice for Baja Designs Fog Lamp Kit

Ok, great. My wife ran off with my truck otherwise I would have had your answer right away.
  10. Install advice for Baja Designs Fog Lamp Kit

I can go take a look a my truck in a few minutes. I donā€™t remember having to use any special tools with the exception of the 1/4ā€ drive torx bit combined with the rachet to remove/reinstall the lamps.
  11. Diamondback Covers

Is it going to be smooth and still available with the LineX coating? The grip on top of the cover wouldnā€™t be as good as it is with the diamond-plate pattern and LineX (thatā€™s what I have and itā€™s amazing), but it would still have quite a bit of functionality. You wonā€™t regret buying Diamondback...
  12. Bizon Snowplow and Front Hitch Mount

I think itā€™s cheaper to just get an old ATV and attach a plow. I have a 1998 Kawasaki Prairie 400 (All Wheel Drive) with a plow, it will push a lot of snow much faster than a snow blower. I add a bag of sand to the front and rear racks when I want to really heavy deep wet snow; plenty of power...
  13. ATV on a Diamondback HD cover

I did not get the Diamondback ATV rail kit. I set a couple small paver stones on the opposite side and rode it onto the cover, set the parking brake, put straps on, removed the pavers, repositioned (centered) the ATV on the cover, fully tightened the racheting straps, and Re-set the parking...
  14. ATV on a Diamondback HD cover

Went to pick up a spare ATV and snow blade from the family cabin yesterday. Drove it home about 2 hours over snow covered roads and a mountain pass. As you can see from the picture itā€™s a really tight fit and a bit tricky to find a place to load/unload unless you have a semi-trailer loading ramp...
  15. Mishimoto R&D: 2019+ Ranger Catch Can Kit

Just finished installing this kit. It sat on a shelf for a couple month as I was waiting for an oil change to come due. First of all, DAMN! Thatā€™s a tight space to get into. The video instructions are great but they donā€™t capture the true difficulty of this install. After youā€™ve taken off the...
  16. Install advice for Baja Designs Fog Lamp Kit

You donā€™t aim them, you just mount them flush against the opening. Theyā€™re wide-beam cornering lights so they just need to be pointed in the general direction. But even if you went with the lenses that are half cornering / half projection, I think mounting them flush would do the trick, because...
  17. Diamondback Covers

Iā€™ve had the HD cover on for over 6 months now. Itā€™s by far the best cover Iā€™ve ever had. Still looks, functions, and seals like brand new. Iā€™ve had it buried in a snow-ice mix and had zero issues getting it open. The black LineX finish makes it easier to touch when itā€™s blazing hot outside...
  18. Mishimoto R&D: 2019+ Ranger Catch Can Kit

Shoot! I was waiting for the pre-sale announcement. I must have missed it. UPDATE: Nevermind, it looks like I was still able to get the sale price. Order placed.
  19. Issues with 5-Star tune

Iā€™ll second what Andy said. We thought maybe it was possibly an issue for both of us because of an issue with our altitude here in CO Springs. Since this issue with 5-star is obviously not isolated to high altitudes, I would recommend to stay completely clear of 5-star tuning regardless of your...
  20. Diamondback Covers

Just get yourself a hitch mounted bed extender. I recommend the Yakima because it is very sturdy and lightweight, so itā€™s easy to store on a wall in your garage.
