These have been around for a long time, and I’ve heard nothing but good from those who use them. A 60mph gust will blow a loaded tractor-trailer off the road. I’ve seen it happen in Palm Springs, CA. All of the normal towing safety rules still apply. It doesn’t increase the GCWR, but it does allow you to move something with a heavier tongue weight than the truck could handle alone.There isn't the weight of the truck under the trailer for stability.
