New owner here with 2019 highly optioned XLT 4x4 Crew cab Sport. Excited about my turbo truck. Really stepped outside my comfort zone coming from my tried and true full size Chevy Avalanche of nearly 15 years of pure bliss reliability. Taking a leap of faith with the EcoBoost that has been in the Mustang since 2015 that this little gem will work out for me for the next 15 years, hopefully. How I got excited about the Eco is test driving a new mustang.
I test drove all the midsized pu's (Ridegeline, Frontier, Taco, Colorado) and only came away with a smile from the ZIPPY go fast ford! It has all and I mean all one could ask for safety features and love those push button electric folding mirrors! Only wish for Leather seats but was not going to pay up another $4K for them with the Lariat package when I had all those features already + less the FX4 package which I don't care about.

Those owners now. - Would you buy again given the chance to unring the bell?
I love this truck. So much fun to drive and I get so many compliments. Yes I would buy again

Hell no!

Way overpriced for the product you receive. I estimated going in that I was paying about 6% more than what i felt was a fair MSRP. Now that I have owned it for awhile I am confident that I paid at least 15% more than what a fair MSRP for the truck is.

I'm just curious - what do you feel is overpriced or missing for the price point? When I was comparing the Ranger and the Tacoma they were priced very similarly. 15% is a LOT. You are saying a 40k truck should be 34k? or a 44k truck should be 37k?

If you truly feel that way, do you feel that the competition is overpriced as well? (Canyon/Colorado, Tacoma)

I feel pretty confident that I will buy a Ranger again. I will have gotten use to having such a torquey little rally truck with the ability to get around a city with ease.

I'll always have love for the F150 with a 2.7, but the Ranger is so far a worthy successor.

I would definitely buy again but this time I wouldn't be a cheapskate I
wanted a ranger without all the bells
and whistles so I bought a Ranger XL with only a couple options on it boy what a mistake but I still like it next time I'll go with a XLT and more
options so my advice to others is to
make sure you choose well for your
budget or wait a little longer if you
can.

To plagiarize your post... "I really stepped outside my comfort zone coming from my tried and true Toyota Tacoma of over 17 years of pure bliss"

Give me about 10 years.... and I'll get back to you.

I've always wanted a Ranger since I was a kid riding in the jump seat of my dad's first generation one. And now that I have one myself, I'm not sure I'll ever go to anything else. I have a feeling the only reason I wouldn't keep buying Rangers, is if they discontinued it again. So yes, Ranger guy for life here hopefully!
