I had the tune done mid Jan 2022. One change I noticed after the tune was done, was the Auto-Start-Stop was permanently disabled. The truck acted like it was turning itself off, but it never really did.
Then in late Feb I started to get issues with the battery: default system chimes when turning truck on in morning and the touchscreen display saying the system was powering off to conserve battery (when getting IN the car).
Today I went to Ford and they determined the battery needed replacing, so they did so under warranty, no issues.
When I picked up the truck and drove off I noticed the auto-start-stop was back to working, which left me wondering if somehow something from the Tune was reset. And of course then I started to second guess the power difference.
So the question is, does replacing the battery and reseting the battery monitory system have any impact on the Ford Tune?
