We had about 5" of snow yesterday & last night. Took the truck out this morning for breakfast & did a bit of shoveling to get the steps cleared for Santa. Glad we put in the covered parking last month, comes in handy now. Mostly, it was for the hail storms in summer, but winter parking is nice too. Let's see some snow pictures from your winter storms! This is Raton, NM this morning, crisp & cold.

Hi Tim,

Snow in the Santa Rita mountains. These mountains are 10 miles away from my back patio and the snow is down to the 5000 ft level... This is as close as I wish to come to this white stuff....:)

Ha!! I live in Georgia....that speaks for itself. If it snows a few flakes then the state shuts down. Embarrassing. I did live in Iowa for a year in 1992 and got to experience a lot of snow to last me for awhile, but I do gotta say I wish it would snow so I can get out in it with the Ranger!!

It happened again yesterday! Another 5" of the white stuff, shaping up to be a good winter. Our water supply comes from the mountains just north of town & into southern Colorado, so it's good to have a bit more already. Should be a nice spring in another 4-5 months...

We live in NB Canada on the Bay of Fundy coast. We have lots of wet snow, freezing rain and ice. I bought a set of
Hankook - I Pike RW11 studded winter tires and put 275 pounds of traction sand in the back over the rear wheels. Hasn't snowed since I had them installed - but I'm ready!! Alert has been posted for NYE - https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/alerts/high-alert/new-brunswick/saint-john

I love snow too! Driving home today on back roads it started hailing and freezing rain. That was no fun. Cars all over the place. I had to put it in 4WD to keep the backend from wagging like a dogs tail.

Arrived to a 20" berm and truck drove right through it n 4L. Driveway was 14-16" and picture shows the drag marks from truck.

I’m jealous. We’re overdue for a good snowfall like that!

I'm shivering just looking at the pictures lol. At least your driveways relatively short. When I lived back east my driveway was 250' with a huge turnaround area where I parked my snowmobile trailer, that was a chore to take care of all winter. That's one of many things I don't miss and why I never complain about the heat out here. :sun:

I hope any of you who are in the Western Canadian plains enjoyed the cold weather last night. These are windchill values at 9:30pm CT last night (1/15/2020). We only got down around -40F last night here in Northern Minnesota.

Got up to a high of +1.2F today! Windchill didn't really get above -20F though.
