I actually have the Goodyears saved in my Wishlist on Amazon. They have really good reviews.
Not knocking other brands, and these look pretty well made.
Might pull the trigger on these soon.
I never had Window Deflectors on any of my vehicles, the Ranger would be a first

I just got the weathertechs for my ranger and was wondering how you all installed using the the metal weather strip clips? I’m not sure I did that part right.

Also, did yours come with anything to protect the trim/weather stripping near the side view mirrors? Mine slip during install and cut up the rubber…..

I didn't use the clips and had no issue with the weather stripping near the mirror

I also installed the Weathertech Deflectors and there are several good youtube videos you can search for that show how the metal clips should be installed. They can be a little difficult to position.

I cut some of the weatherstripping on the door when installing and used Permatex Black Rubber Sealant which Permatex recommended and it worked perfectly to patch it. It's hard to find and I had to call several stores in my area to find it.

Thank you for the replies and help! I’ll be getting some of the Permatex tonight to do a little patch.

You're welcome.

The Black Rubber Sealant was recommended by Permatex and is hard to find but here is what is looks like...

Also, pics of what the metal clip should look like between the deflector and the top rubber seal from the outside after installation...

I don't think WeatherTech makes them for SCab back doors since the windows don't roll down. Not sure about the SCrews. I think they look fine just on only the two front doors....

Back in October/November, I installed the AVS continuous flowing ones, that actually stick onto the outside of the door, but within a few months, 2 of them came loose, so I just removed all 4 of them. I need to use some better tape and try to reapply them soon, maybe they'll stick better in the heat? Here's what they looked like when I installed them last year.

They look really nice! :)
Thanks, yours to, too, two, someone will get that :giggle: Are they the best? I don’t know! Best bang for the buck? I doubt it. I seem to think these are pretty high quality and their, there not that cheap but any chance I get to buy a US product I’m all in.
