I bought my 2020 Ranger 2wd XLT for towing a travel trailer but since selling the trailer I’ve been wanting to level it out. I’ve read about the pro’s and con’s of 2 inch, 2.5 inch spacers, kits with shocks, cheap and expensive. Like I said, I just want it level and to maintain the factory ride feel. I thought I would ask here first to save some time researching. Thanks a lot!

In the long run the factory shocks are only going to last so much longer. Best route is just to get better shocks that also give you the level. I think you’re going to appreciate the ride way more.

You have a 2WD and it's probably safe to say that from time to time you add some weight to the bed right? Whether it's getting stuff from the hardware store, or loading up a motorcycle or some other kind of toy, or better yet towing a trailer that you are borrowing or renting. With that in mind I would not bother with a Leaving kit what so ever. If you like the factory suspension feel then I would leave it be. If you want improved suspension feel simply change out the shocks for Bilstein or Eibach shocks(not the ones that come with springs).

That's my input

I’m with 9zero1790. If your going to do it you might as well go all out. I put leveled coil overs on a year ago. I tow my boat year around with no issues or squatting much at all. I did it for more front ground clearance and to get the alternator higher after I found out the alternator was mounted low on the Ranger. There are plenty of great options brand wise. I feel any of them will ride better than stock.

i did the lift mostly to get a little more room for the tires and get rid of the bouncy feel. when doing rocks off road it seems like 3 front ended would bounce two or three times per rock lol not fun.
