I've seen plenty of those silhouettes in various parts of the US. This dismembered one is in PA.

I pass one pretty regularly that I'm pretty sure is a golf target in someone's backyard. years ago while doing a bike ride in the woods in Indiana, I encountered a group of people with many guns camping in the woods off of a usually gated forest road. they claimed to have been hunting bigfoot.

I also did a boat ride on Loch Ness once. Didn't see anything of note.

They'll run the tag, go to the house and buddy will be piss drunk 'I wasn't driving', while he's covered in mud from bailing out and crossing a muddy field.

Our impaired driving laws recently changed so that a breath sample can be demanded in the home, after the fact, and result in a DUI charge. Of course, the demand can only be enforced if the person admits to driving within the past two hours.
