Where’s your dog?

Others may remember my Frenchie "Pierre" shown here guarding my '20 Lariat, sadly I lost him to cancer last August...

Please welcome "Andre", an intact male who'll be one year old next week, he is just as faithful and a joy as Pierre was, but he is just a substitute, not a replacement.

No dog on the planet will ever replace my beloved Pierre...

New "puppy", now 9 mos old. Fide is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. We have established he is not allowed in the bed or on the couch. He has established he can sit anywhere else!

Still not sure WTF really happened here , but a uhaul crashed into our local animal shelter , one dog got a boo boo on its leg but no injuries other than that...
Someone smart once said " never let a tragedy go to waste " and , they didn't, news crews and local media blitz had everybody scrambling to save all the doggos from impending doom (all ready timbered up and stable when I got there though) everybody but me that is , we had just saved 2 shelter dogs last year from impending doom and I felt ok about it , closed the case and even put my foot down . "What if we just foster a dog , ? ?? They are looking for people to do that , SURLY we can do that?"

Meet the damn foster dog that isn't going anywhere because the wifey lied and tricked me !!! She needs a name other than " Damn it !" , which is all I can think to say at the moment...

You know, Soupie's one tuff motha of a Ranger - all work and so macho.

Just like Junkyard Cheech - he lives hard, bites hard, and is an all-round tuff guy.

So when it comes to sittin' in the backyard to supervise passer-bys, he's used to roughing it, even at 50 degrees.

4 blankets ...

snug as a bug in a rug

yes, an outdoor ice-melting mat - he may be medium-rare soon

and I'm just as tuff, yes Kate got us a monogrammed blanket

I'm pretty snug too, but no heating pad for me =p

careful tuff guy, you're gonna get cold - I better tuck you back in

Where's Andy, Barney, opie, Goober, Aunt Bee and Sara? I am assuming they were named after Floyd the barber and Otis the one who liked to spend the night in jail on occasion in Mayberry.
