Lack of bed track, hold down options. seriously a t channel on each side pre mounted strong enough to hold vertical racks( or act like the clamp points for them).

Tha maverick has tons of little points where you can mount weird accessories. Ranger you need to drill to get a decent phone mount. (my stick on one held great for a while then bumps on a 90 degree day started loosening it.)

Love, well it is a truck and has hauled our travel trailer around with out complaining, by either the Truck or Me.

I love that there is not a sunroof. The Sport trac gutter drain plugged and dripped on the leather seat for a few hours permanently staining it.
Dislike ASS and HVAC controls.

Right when the the salesperson was going out to put the plate on she hands me a pice of paper with the vin and say you’ll need this to set up Ford pass so you can start your truck with you phone. It was a pleasant surprise!!

The only thing I really hate is no built in pockets to support 48” wide panels, and no 8’ bed option.

I also hate cruise control randomly reverting to adaptive mode that I dislike and won't use. I'm old.
Fords regular cruise control seems to maintain set speed better than any other brands I've used

I love the electronic computer witchcraft the 5g trucks have off road. the tms and goat mode or whatever they call it system works very well and is simple to use. Years ago I thought auto locking hubs were cool lol so maybe im easy to impress. but i can honestly say the 5g ranger makes it more places easier than i thought it could with hardly any fuss. way more cabale than the jeep yj i had. the gadgets and gizmos controlling traction and brakes etc. work so well i barely notice a wheel slip before it sends power to the opposite. Ive only had to use low range and the locker maybe 3 times and one was just make sure they worked.
one thing i hate on my 5g is the damn headrests dont adjust fore and aft like basically every headrest on a modern car. mine just go up and down. after a long ride neck gets angry. I have a love hate thing with the 10 speed. i love the efficiency but hate the situations when its off in lala land but i need a different gear. its rare it happens anymore, but it is always the same places when it does. hating the bcm and connections at the moment. my brake lights have an agenda and sop that is all them and no me lol.

Mine do sort of adjust fore and aft - but it is kind of weird - you have to pivot them and they will lock in at various spots - it is hard to describe. I didn't realize this for quite a while after I got my truck.

As an XL owner, I hate the tiny display screen. As a travel trailer tower, I love the power, smooth shifting 10 speed, and relative comfort that allows me to go 500-600 miles a day. Oh yeah... 18 gallon tank could be 10 gallons larger.

I agree. Hate sun roofs and makes want to wear a hat while driving (oh wait, I do anyway!)

So yours don't do that? Or you just don't like how that works (granted it is kind of weird).

Wow - I hadn't realized that was one of the places they cut corners. I knew the backseat headrests didn't flip down any longer, but didn't realize the front ones changed. Crazy!
