Wow I really do love my Ranger more every day. Super comfortable, powerful, great looking.
I have done a lot of mods so I won't list those as former dislikes. LOL
We do need a drivers side handle however. No mods for that yet.

I love the truck! Mainly I love that you can do truck stuff yet it’s still decent from a fuel economy standpoint. It’s the first vehicle Ive had that had this amount of tech which is pretty cool especially the Ford pass app remote start. And I’ve added the ability to have wireless CarPlay which is also pretty awesome!

Dislikes are things I wish they added and or had as part of the design/ options. A 6ft on the super crew would have been a good idea (I got the super cab so I can have the 6ft bed) and all weather package with heated seats mirrors and wipers that could be at least available on XLT should be a thing ( my Subaru before this had that and the heated wipers which are a seldom mentioned feature that’s quite handy) The rear windows on the super cab should be those vent style ones that pop open a few inches on the back side. And if we’re gonna get a bit carried away here the ability to control the windows and climate control in the ford pass app would be cool to.

Curious to see what folks love and also what folks don't like about the truck.

For me, I love the feeling of the ride, as well as the engine. It feels smooth as butter, incredibly responsive, and is truly punching above its class. Couldn't be more satisfied with its performance after one year. The engine impresses me with its get up and go nature. I was driving a payload of about 900lb a few months ago, it was such a smooth and effortless ride that I honestly forgot the wood and concrete mix was in the back. I hope it stays reliable for years to come.

The thing I really dislike about these trucks is the body panels. Man I have never been more disappointed with the "Body" quality of a vehicle. I feel like the metal in the doors in particular is so damn thin and hollow, they might as well be a soda can. Super easy to dent. If you put any pressure on the super cab doors, they literally flex. I feel like they could dent if I happen to trip and have to hold myself up by reclining on them, and I'm only 170lb! I'm sure that this was done in an effort to save on weight, which allows for such impressive towing, payload, and acceleration, but god damn the doors can feel so cheap and hollow.

What about y'all?
Love the power.
Hate, No sex in my "back seat"

Like: Most everything....except:

Dislike:
- Squishy Brakes
- Manual parking brake (make it electronic or a peddle, storage is lacking already), also my parking brake doesn't like to stay down, and it triggers the doo-doo-doo occasionally.
- Lack of ergonomics of the infotainment/climate control cluster
- "8-way power seat" that has manual recline and no memory, wtaf?
- Clunky drivetrain...is what it is
- Tinny body panels...feels cheap

Otherwise, it's great!

Like the looks, ride and comfort. The diesel performs well and gets good kpl's.

Honestly overall don't have too many dislikes. The one dislike was the headlight bulbs which I changed out. The other being I actually don't have heat function at all. But where this is a issue in heavy rains it's difficult to defog the windows.

Love the truck. But I wish it offered heated steering wheel, power rear window, cooled seats and a larger gas tank. My F-150 had them.

I like most everything with the Ranger, except for a few things that I feel are missing.

- Sunroof
- Heated Steering Wheel
- Auto Down Passenger Window
- Power Reclining Seats
- Built-in Brake Controller
- Power Rear Sliding Window
- Easier to Access Oil Filter :)

Basically, no deal breakers, as I knew it was missing those things when I bought it.

Everyone is making great points about the truck and I would agree with most of them. Some of them are valid concerns that Ford could change at a minimum cost to improve the vehicle, and I hope someone in the Ranger design area would read through this thread. I think the overall message from everybody is that they love their truck and would buy it again. I know I would.

Like most all of it, esp turbo engine, but definitely do not like that radio keeps playing when you shut down until door is open/closed. Should have an option to stop that - has anyone done so ?

Hope he doesn’t slam on the brakes like “Those complaining about the brakes feeling soft“

This has already been shared, but a good reminder for those that haven't seen it. I've done this procedure myself, and it worked great. However it will make an awful sound for a few seconds as the process runs. You've been warned.

I just ordered a plug and play module to make my passenger window one touch. I have a super cab so if you have a supercrew you could get three. The installation seems pretty easy another user posted detailed instructions on what they did so I’ll post that link as well as the link to get it. They’re in Australia so it’s probably about 2weeks before I get it but I’m definitely looking forward to it! It’s about $85AUD which is about $60USD this includes shipping

This info was shared with me by other users to which I’m very thankful!
