Hello All.

First post on here. Apologies if this is on the wrong topic.

As the title suggests, what's been the most useful upgrade or install for your Ranger? I'm trying to compile a list of potential upgrades that haven't crossed my mind. I know there is some trolling regarding the damper, so that one is already on my list. ?

I really like the door edging to prevent scuffs, the Wolf Haus bed wiring kit, and my BAK revolver.
I ordered an RSI top but now wondering if I should have just kept the tonneau! I got it for cheap because the clips were broken but I fixed it and it looks and works great!

Did you add Navigation using Forscan or something?

Yes, bought a used Nav capable APIM. Used ForScan to configure.

Had to add a generic GPS antenna, still need to dig further in to see why.

Only other issue, the Nav faults if I start the engine before the APIM fully boots up. Might be rated to the GPS antenna. Clear the on-screen fault and nag to have the dealer service it and Nav is 100% so not a major issue.

Favorite convenience mods are Black Horse rear bumper with corner steps (easy bed access with tailgate down)

The corner steps always looked somewhat useless to me, because the height was only a few inches lower than the top of the bumper, so I thought, what's the point?.

That was until I bought a Sierra. What an awesome, simple design! I loved them! I now curse the Ranger bumper every time I try to climb into the back with the tailgate down.

Leer 100XR, with:
Driver's side windoor
Passenger side sliding window
Three 12v outlets in the bed
Front slider to matchup to slider on rear window of truck
I also added Yakima racks on my own after purchase (cheaper than from Leer), as well as a net on the ceiling on the driver's side (so I can access it from the windoor).

This is great! Thank you so much. My wife is looking for a topper for her 2020 Ranger Lariat FX4 (I have my own 2020 Ford Ranger XLT FX4), we appreciate the added info too, for our dogs the windows will be something we will want, too.
