What do you use to clean the Tremor Side Steps?

I think the team that delivered my vehicle from the muddy lot to the rail car must of had a blast doing so. Mud all over! I asked the dealer not to clean / detail my truck before I picked it up as I mentioned here before, however I still am cleaning mud from the truck underside and my porous Tremor steps. What do y'all use to clean the mud out of the steps? I have ended up using a high-quality car window cleaner and that has helped. Car was soap and scrubbing with various brushes did not do anything to get the mud streaks off that reappear after the steps dry. TIA for any ideas!

try this with a soft bristle nylon brush

Pressure washer works well on the textured steps after a soapy water pre-soak.

Also found that some soft bristle brushes break off fibers when scrubbing the textures steps.

If you crawl under the truck, there are two bolts on each of the three legs holding the rails to the body.

Remove the bolts and the rails. Problem solved.
