Did you add a winch to Soupie so it can be used or is this extra traction weight ?.
Not yet, just the chain come-along.

But I'd like to setup a portable winch in a cradle and install a front receiver.

But I'd like to weld up my own cradle and need to add a 30 amp circuit to the garage (just a very shared 20 amp in there now - poor wiring on a formerly 60 amp panel for the house).

I had the same problem in my last house. 60 amps for everything. I bought a 14kw generator for the barn to run welders, big compressor and milling machine. Was a lot cheaper then upgrading the electric. Now it's easy to add some solar, batteries, and inverter for things like that plus home backup.

Holy smokes, I never thought about something like that! That's incredibly brilliant!

My 27-gallon compressor will run okay as long as my wife's not using her hairdryer! LOL, how's that for great wiring! =p

My cutoff saw won't run at all in the garage, but I can run it in the basement on a 20-amp circuit that only feeds one outlet.

Thanks for all the rationalization I need to get a new toy! =D

Now we're talking! That would be awesome (looks in pockets and couch for $6,000+). =D

But, since going overboard is the forum standard, why not go all in! =p

Got my @LASFIT LED bulbs in the mail today and I'm going to replace the interior dome and license plate lights with them. I will wait until Thursday when it's 50* out because it's still cold out now and I'm a wimp. ?

I received my Fitzstick a month ago but it's been too cold and wet to get it installed. My truck just barely fits in the garage so she stays outside. :frown: I hate that but it is what it is.
