It was a Sun Joe I got off of Amazon. It was ok for car stuff, but I wanted to clean other things like my driveway and walk ways and it wasn't powerful enough, then after a year it quit working lol.

I got the cannon and shampoo from Adams, then bought a stubby gun off of Amazon that has a swivel attachment. I'll use the long gun for my driveway and walkways, and the stubby for my vehicles and foam cannon :like:
Gas PW's are great, they just require more maintenance and hearing protection than I want to deal with. heck if I buy a cheap chinese PW every couple years it is still a better option for me. lol

Eventually I will suck it up and buy something like this...

Technically not for the Ranger specifically, but will be used a lot on it lol. 3400 psi gas pressure washer. Had an electric before, and didn't like it so I'll give one of these a go.

Also picked up a foam cannon, never really understood the use of them, thought they were "gimicky" especially since I hand wash all my vehicles anyway. But what the heck, it was on sale lol.
Be happy you can still buy a gas PW. Those poor people in California can't, or can they still.

Good to know. I'm planning to scrub the fender wells on my R32 this weekend before I put the liners back in. So I'll make sure to turn the PW off while scrubbing. Thanks :like:

Put in a shot of "pump saver" after each use. Especially when you store it for the winter. If you leave hard water inside the pump, it'll leave deposits.

As for my pressure washer, I'm using an electric PW that's right up there with gas powered models. 3000psi Ryobi

Talked with CVF and the are not C.A.R.B approved. Could do it, but some wont ship to CA, and then a keen SMOG inspector might catch on in a few years. I‘lil have to find other ways to have fun.
In previous years I’ve had luck with my 2005 evo (when I had it) getting items that don’t have the brand names on it or stenciled logos on the inter cooler.. that going to be my method for when I go for the pipes and inter cooler for the Ranger since I’m in anti car/truck Cali.

Basically anything two stroke is non existent, gas is just extremely hard to find. They basically restrict the availability and that’s how they’ve been forcing their hand.

Upgraded my scan tool (Ahem-Toy) - from my Autel MS906TS
Cyber Monday - $1995 - Topdon Phoenix Smart
Played with it some - Faster, J2534 Dongle for Programming Modules & Ford PMI's etc.
Adds better PID graphing, extra PID data & Bi-Directional Controls, Tests etc
Plus allows me to add a 4-Channel Lab Scope, which I have wanted for a long time for deeper diagnosis of circuit performance

You went from electric to gas - which electric did you have?

Foam canons, depending on the soap, mixture and canon itself can really be awesome. I have 4 . . . one that came with my PW, a cheap amazon special that the brass and fittings are all different materials and corroded, and 2 that were "pricier". the "pricier" ones are really nice - they have features I never thought I would want in a fowm cannon - the little hose inside the bottle has a weight on the end and the hose is flexible so it doesn't matter the bottles orientation the soap comes out the nozzle.

https://www.mtmhydroparts.com/collections/best-sellers/products/pf22-2-foam-cannon (I have the previous version of this it has a narrow mouth on the bottle)

https://mjjc.com/collections/foam-cannon-s-v3/products/mjjc-foam-cannon-s-v3-0-quick-connection (This is my current favorite it is just a smidge top heavy so falls over easy and leaks from the inlet)
Love my MJCC (I have an older model) - it's been great for 3 seasons on 2 cars. And it does make more foam (I use Mr. Pink and Turtle Wax Pure Foam.

Older model. Ewwww

You need to upgrade that to the newest foam cannon tech.
