And the batteries are only limited by your bank account - I saw the 10 Ah battery they have and it is north of 40 bucks. jeepers creepers. The batteries really are the limit. For my Toro, it has two 6Ah ones and that's enough to do my driveway once or twice (depending on snow weight and depth). My Driveway is 55' by 14', so not huge at all.
For a super fluffy and dry snow, I could probably do my driveway and two neighbors with smaller ones.
Another pair of batteries would be nice (the Toro can run on 1, 2, or 3 batteries at a time).
But DANG! those batteries are costly! $340 for a 7.5 Ah!
Also, the stock charger is dog slow at about 4 hours to recharge (much slower then the Ego speed charger).
I was torn on the Ego blower, since I have several batteries. But Toro won me over since the unit is one of their existing gas units, just with the electric powerhead.
Of course, my frame of reference is growing up in Quebec:

realistically a snow blower like the Toro could almost be a group buy for me and my neighbors. I buy the batteries I would use, they buy a pair etc, etc and we split the cost of the blower itself.
the maintenance is minimal as it is electric and doesn't require much in the way of tinkering and cleaning the motor. just some minor adjustments and lubricating.
geez - now you got me really contemplating this . . .
My Dad in Maryland actually has 2 gas snow blowers he has offered me, I would just have to drive from Denver to Baltimore to get them. lol
