That split pipe insulation doesn't stay put on mine for more than a month. I have two sitting on my garage floor, bereft of stickiness.

Yours lasted longer than mine. Since I'm moving closer to your neck of the woods I know I'll encounter much more rain than we have here so I added a piece, it lasted 2 days. I don't have much time now to mess with it but once we're settled in I'll try it again along with some adhesive spray on the inside edges and hopefully that works better.

It is always forecast to get rain here but 3/4 the time we don't get it. Not just the people but also the rain moves on "Missouri time".

The boots looked like new but there was the typical discoloration on the insulators. Not bad for 74,000 miles though.

Picked up a solid 1.5 mpg over two tanks of gas, i.e. back to normal.
