Brackets for the RB20 Slim. Boards are rolling across the plains somewhere right now.

Yes - mine were shipped separately as well- didn’t know it till second box - (brackets) showed up the next day - as I did not open the boards until the second box showed up.

Now I have boards (RB20 Slims) to go with my brackets. These short days suck! ???
Doesn’t look like the FedEx driver ran over these more than once. Aim is sufferin’ I reckon.

Ford Performance Bumper ? followed me home from the parts center at a dealership.

These were originally $1500, they've been going for $1000 lately. After the last price drop to $500 I jumped on it ? Got them to add a 15% discount the Ford website had on the order.

Brought it down to about $450 with tax. Used my $210 worth of FordPass points and wound up out the door with a $1500 bumper for $240 and change

Have some vacation time coming up end of the month I'll use for the install. Have to drill the holes for the sensors and get the ACC remounted but shouldn't be too bad.

$240? Rich, you can’t beat that with a stick!

It’s going to look so great.

Definitely post a video when you’re done. This is the one over been looking at. Best bang for your buck.

post woman dropped off my new wavien jerry cans to replace the plastic one i was using. the sun has done a number on it, its sorta pink on one side and the rubber seal and plastic nozzle both disintegrated into little bits when i tried to use them over the weekend. now i gotta figure out how to secure these things to the truck without drilling any holes :inspect:

Didn’t get anything in the mail today but tried installing what arrived yesterday. Apparently I received brackets for RB10/20s and not for the Slim version….. ?‍♂?‍♂. Asked for a refund. Last time ordering after having to ship back the last set of boards two days ago. OEMs going back on again and leaving it be.

Big, honkin’ rare earth magnets?

@subquark has some holding his bed rug in place - he also has a metal gas can or two, I believe. Maybe he can field test the idea to see if it works.

BedRug and magnets?

Oh, does Duke mean how much of a babe magnet that Soupie is? That's a very strong magnet for sure! =p

@9zero1790 I have this post with the link to 110-pound magnets: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/thre...e-mail-today-for-your-ranger.1866/post-474180

They"re very strong, even through the BedRug thickness. And they'd likely hold a 5-gallon Wavian but I'd be worried about it holding in case of a sudden stop or accident. I guess a full can would be around 40 pounds. Of course, you could also tether it to a tie-down.

I tried the Wavian holder, which is nicely made, but it didn't let my 2.5 gallon can tuck in as nicely in front of the wheelwell (side note: I only keep 2 gallons in it).

Post about holder: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/thre...e-mail-today-for-your-ranger.1866/post-631242

I hold my can in place with a 2-inch wide Velcro strap plus a coated 3/16"steel security cable, both through the front tie-down. But a violent crash would probably tear it loose (I was a firefighter for a few years and was amazed by how mangled cars can get). I may also be a bit overly concerned because a cup of gasoline is equivalent to 13 sticks of dynamite.

holder also available for 5-gallon cans

Update: I sometimes catch the edge of a bed tarp under those magnets to hold the tarp in place. Just enough to lightly hold it and allow me to pull it loose by the ropes on the tarp corners. Just saying the magnets can have multiple uses. =)
