What did you let go to get your Ranger?

I traded in my 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid I wish I had it now with the 44 MPG I was getting. I am so glad I bought my Ranger however. I couldn't tow my tent trailer with the FFH. I still have my 1999 TACO and Yamaha FZ6.

I gave up my 92 F-250 XLT with the 460 V8. But I gained four wheel drive and get twice the gas mileage of the old truck. I do miss the twin gas tanks though, the Ranger tank is too small, especially if you're towing.

I traded a 2015 Ford Taurus SHO 43,000 miles because I needed a truck. Where I live they only pickup the tall kitchen bags worth of trash but I have way more so I bring trash & recyclables to the dump with my 2019 XLT FX4. I actually like my Ranger better. The Ranger has a better view of the road. With an SCT tune, K & N drop in panel filter, & an AFE Power exhaust this little truck is almost as fast as my Taurus SHO but more versatile & it can handle deep snow better. No regrets !

I "gave up" my 2016 F-150 when an idiot in a BMW ran a red light. All is good...got a good settlement for it and I wasn't hurt. Looking forward to getting my '23 XLT (10/17 build date...fingers crossed!).

As of today,, I'm driving a 2022 BMW convertible. On Monday we are going to the coast to see '' CruIsing the Coast'',, and then I will sell it. It's a nice auto,, but,, the seats are somewhat uncomfortable for me. I'll get the Tremor and drive that for a couple of years.

I recall looking at them in the late 80's when a special package was being offered in a 2wd standard cab, identical paint and velour interior, 2.8L FI motor, completely loaded - power everything for around $10, 250 sticker. An attractive package. We went with the 1988 Ranger Summer Special Edition that was kinda similar but had a more flexible options availability and color schemes.

I was a good truck. 4.3L Vortec V6 and 2WD. Had to put bags of water softener salt in the bed for winter driving to get traction. I think the truck was about 17K back in 1998.
