We had to learn the rules of each of the sports we would play in PE. Overall, we were graded on skill, knowledge of the rules, and teamwork. Real, measurable stuff - afterall, it was still school, right?PE, Health for 35 years and I got to add Sports Medicine the last three. PE used to be the best until kids didn't want to do anything or follow the rules of the game. Instead of the admin making the students accountable we had to dumb down a very well organized curriculum to just "keep them moving."PE became a punishment for the teachers and a dumping ground for the counselors. Gee I wonder why there are behavior issues????

. Oh, well. Not my monkey, not my circus anymore!! Now I have to carry a gun to work! We don't get hardly any problems at the gun range!!
