What did I do WITH my Ranger today?
Well, it started off with me falling out of bed onto the floor, oh wait, that’s another story.
I started the Ranger remotely while I was gathering up all my ”get in the Ranger and go stuff” and donning my flop hat so as to look much cooler to go out in public. Then I casually meandered out yonder to where the Ranger is backed under the carport so as to protect if from the burning sun which was not acting very “sun like” today. I reached into my pocket and pressed the Ranger remote unlock button while stumbling down the back deck steps, opened he drivers door, gathered all of my bone rattling might, and popped up into the Ranger driver seat while adjusting my lumbar support cushion into the proper position. Then I pushed the little silver switchblade button which popped out the key, and inserted it into the ignition and turned it one click which then officially brought the Ranger to life. Then, as I mentioned in another post, I shifted the transmission selector lever into NEUTRAL and left it idle for a few moments while fastening the choke straps, adjusting the ”climate control”, checking the fuel level, battery voltage, and searching the best Sirius XM channel.
To make a long story short, I drove to Smithfield to the Gourmet Bakery, had french toast with country ham of course washed down with four cups of coffee.
Then I drove the Ranger home and backed her into her protective carport.
THE END
(PS, it’s so nice to drive the Ranger without that grinding center support bearing)
Who says going to breakfast is boring!!😂

It would involve a full page of BLEEPS and number one gesture pictures due to idiotic drivers. I would be banned till the year 2096 For Life.
Fixed it for ya. 😜

BTW...I can relate and have many days like that!🤬🤬

It’s like driving in a demolition derby every time I pull out of the driveway only I’m trying NOT to get hit.
I can relate. Here, the average age is 73 and now it's snowbird season. So we have doubled our population for the next 4 months with bad drivers from all over the country. Some days it's like driving in a video game. But it's nice here and everyone's super friendly and very quiet which is a nice change from being up in the Phoenix area.

Sounds like a better place than around here. The things that aggravate the “you know what“ out of me are drivers running red lights, rolling through STOP signs, and tailgating. Sometimes I just have to bite my tongue and accept what the inconsiderate morons do. And the college brats on their phones is a major problem over in the burg. Dangerous….. But then I look at this spoiled brat in my Ranger and all is well.

They bake their own bread, as you might imagine being a bakery, as well as other things that make your tongue slap your brains out and have enough calories to jump start the nuclear reactor just up the road a few. They also have excellent she crab soup.
The owner had this lithograph for a long time trying to find someone to build her a quality frame for it. Everyone wanted half what the business was worth so I said “I have a guy” that I know real well and he just happens to have a fully tooled wood shop (that would be me in case you’re wondering). So I took it home, built a rough cedar frame, which she absolutely loved, took it to the bakery and mounted it on the brick wall for her at a more reasonable price that she could live with. Also found someone antique wrought iron hooks and hung her copper pot collection.

My lady friend across the river has an app on her phone called pulse point I think thats what it’s called. Anyway, her daughter and son in law are both fire fighter paramedics and her phone beeps every time their station gets a call. Needless to say, the phone goes off usually once an hour or more and even worse on the weekends. It’s crazy and you see it every time you back out of the driveway. I had some *&$#@$& in a truck following me so close through the college area just two days ago that you would have had to turn sideways to walk between my car and that truck. I wanted so very bad to jam on the anchor pedal but I like my little car too much and he probably didn’t have insurance anyway so I pulled over and left the inconsiderate idiot go by. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Paid $1.99 for gas, my usual E15 88.
Lowest I've paid since, you know, 2020.
