Did some exploring and what not, gopro always makes angles look mild.
Also think my new transmission is starting to go bad already....

Changed the lube in the axles. My 2020 has drain plugs so it's easy.
I changed it the first time at 30K and they drained out pretty black with lots of shavings on the magnetic drain plugs. Today at 90k the lube drained out fairly clean, still looked gold with minimal shavings on the magnets (wipe them off with a paper towel)..
I used Redline 75w-90 synthetic both times. It meets the Ford spec in the owner's manual.
An $8 transfer pump from Harbor Freight is ideal. I cut the hoses down, originally they are quite long.
Torque spec on the drain and fill plugs is 18 ft. lb.
Only the drain plugs have a magnet so don't mix them up.
I'll do the transfer case later this week.

Just did the math. Not including me my son gas etc a tamper and skid.

Pavers, caps, stone and pl500 per home depot came in at 2,092.16lbs. just a little overweight.

I'm guessing I was about 650 lbs overweight.

Another perfect leveling kit.
Hey, at least neither @Old NaCl nor I were doing the Carolina squat.

Fun note, my wife noticed a lady at Lowes when we were leaving. She had a tarp in the back seat of her VW beetle convertible and was loading that thing up.

I've gotten 100 pavers with a 98 Wrangler once. Had em stacked in the passenger seat and floor as well as the whole and cargo area . Thank you coil springs. I had no suspension.

Back in the 70’s, a friend of mine told his classmate that the junkyard was paying $150 for old manhole covers. So this guy went around and collected about a dozen, and had them in the trunk of his 67 Chevelle. Before he went to the junkyard, they wrote “HA, HA!” on his windshield. So he didn’t get arrested, but he sure screwed up his car’s rear end. Just hope nobody hit an uncovered man hole. Crazy times back then…

Taking note of my Rangers 6 year Rangerversairy.? Came home on 4-15-19. 48,400 trouble free miles. Rather than taking a new picture, I just scrolled through my phone and found the most recent Ranger picture. Took this on 4-10, for no reason other than the fact that I still like looking at this awesome truck. The ranger is my favorite truck of all the others I have had. My 2011 Superduty was a close second. I usually keep one 8 to 10 years. There is nothing out there right now that I would trade the Ranger for.
Here is a hot rumor. Fords Louisville Assembly Plant is scheduled to shut down at the end of this year to re-tool for a new product. Ford has not announced what the new product will be, other than to say it will be electrified of some sort. Employees involved are required to sign non disclosure agreements to keep details secret. Latest rumor is that it will be a hybrid Maverick. Maybe by then I will be ready to down size. ?

Dropped it off at the shop to get my Eibach kit installed
How do you like the kit. How does it ride compared to before?. I keep putting off doing the same thing. But I can't decide whether to use Eibach or cough up a lot more money and get Fox. I wish I could test drive a couple vehicles with each setup.
