Looks like you have some competition there at the dump.

You'd better load up Soupie to the brim tomorrow and show them who's boss there!:captain::punch:
Those skimpy 5’ beds are no match for Soupie!

Should be hunting, but it was 81 degrees today…went into the park for a few hours to pursue some trout with the fly rod. Slow going with low clear water. Caught 5 small rainbows in 3 hours. Hunting or fishing….beats workin!

Soupie's been doing a bit more than just 1.6 mile dump runs. Running to the vet a few times in the last week and to my vet, err, I mean my doctor too.

The sun was just right so I had to take some pics of Soupie. =)

hey! that's not Soupie! but it's Race Red! I so like those tie spots on the outer bed rail for tarps ...

Took her Sunday afternoon to the back woods in the U.P. of Michigan with my wife to cut down some Christmas greens. Took my good camera with to snap a few pics and the truck was smiling for a photo or two.

I’ll start out!

Badass picture, but the important question is, what type of mountain bike? I'm riding a 2023 Specialized Epic Evo Pro and love it. I'm to short for a roof rack and worry I'd forget it pulling into the garage so mine goes in the back of the bed.

Lil Red Rollin' Dumpster!

Maybe that ought to be Soupie's new name. Loaded up some random crap for a mini dump run.

Bonus points, I was able to toss a mirror into the container without breaking it - phew! Maybe that'll stave off tranny issues (but surely it's not enough mojo to magical swap to Toyota bump stops and fix that terrible bed rake). =p

And what an idiot I am, that gold stuff is $78 Pergo underlayment that could have just as easily, and maybe better, been addressed with 6 mil vapour barrier. That stuff is kind of like the Styrofoam in egg containers with a super thin Mylar-like gold backing. It compresses so easily when walked on. By the time my knee pads were done with the LVT, that underlayment stuff was pretty squished and useless ...

But it was a glorious dump run and it shows that with hard work and discipline, even dumb French-Canadian frogs can live the dream! Oh yeah baby! =D

Saturday, met up with EricNC & his K9 search dog in a RR
20241109_104055.jpg

and a F250 Black Widow package
20241109_095022.jpg

along with some other vehicles to do S&R mission in NW NC from Helene. Have made several trips to NW NC and the total devastation is still just unbelievable. I will be the first to admit my truck is a pavement princess and it has not ever been this long without a thorough wash, but it just isn't a priority right now.
