Lol, I gotta be honest…..this one’s a bit embarrassing to admit after two months of ownership; but today my Ranger and I explored “Sport” mode for the first time.

I swear, the “S” never really registered. I think subconsciously I just assumed it stood for “Shift”; for when you wanted to run through the gears manually using the +/- on the shift knob

It wasn’t until after putting gas in, when I inadvertently put it in “S” mode and goosed it a bit pulling into traffic…that I realized there was some untapped “Umph!” in there to play with.

Definitely a pleasant revelation. Spent half the afternoon playing with my new found power. Spent the other half kicking myself for not knowing it was there from the get-go. Probably should read the owner’s manual one of these days.

Also swung by the park for a couple of gratuitous pics…..because from the other “enthusiast” forums I’m on, I know that every post is better with pics.

Parked in its hole behind lock and key, tear down of rack begins Friday so Version 3 can begin.

Finally get to stretch the new cave's legs with why I built it.

You might want to check on flag code.

I believe the Union should be displayed on the left. And since you're displaying it with the "thin blue line" flag at the same level I believe the US flag should be left as well.

Bit of a pet peeve of mine, sorry.

According to Ford, I believe the "S" stands for "Select Shift." Everybody here calls it "sport."

Are you kidding? I had the damper ordered before I knew I was even gonna be looking at trucks….just because I had heard so many great things about it. Figured even if I didn’t buy a new vehicle I’d use it for a cabinet door or something around the house.

Lol, it was actually the first thing I installed and I love it….though my muscles do seem to be atrophying a bit.

Matt, this is what I love to hear, the new guys joining the damper club! :like: Don't worry to much about the muscle atrophy it's slow and gradual. You'll know when it's fully kicked in as you'll have a hard time just picking up a 6 pack.o_O
