Hi Folks,

My Ranger went down to the UPS store to pick up my replacement water softener system from the UPS store where our Mail Box is located.

Then to break out the propane tourch and tools and proceed with the install of this system in place of the old failed brine tank system from Honeywell. Salt was a pain to haul home dump in the brine tank and the clean up when the resin tank split was super messy. So the new system is much cleaner install but required substantial modification to fit into the space allocated by the whole house softener loop.... So here are the end results... Aquasana system...Good for 10 years before you discard and purchase new blue bottles.... Happy and it works! Whole House filter is a bit of a pain in this install, but I have a work around for the every three months replacement....

Went to shop and bought 30 Thuja occidentalis Brabant, or two loads.

Last week I cut out the remaining trees after the electric company made under the wire clearing of the highest trees. Then I proceeded to chip anything under 2" to mulch and mix it to the soil. These thujas are the replacement for the trees and damaged ligustrum fence section. Next spring I'll dig up the ligustrum and migrate them to other part of the property.

And this time I remembered to take a picture!

P.S. "Green Diesel" needs a wash :)

Tested the new Seat Belt Pads from Amazon to make sure they don't slide up the belt when engaging and disengaging it. They fortunately remained in position.

It is important that the Seat Belt Pads remain where they are attached to protect the area where the Belt had been rubbing the seat back and started to create a wear spot...

These could double as hand warmers if you ever get caught in cold weather. ?

Hmmm, sounds like an idea for a seat belt pad damper?

Normal small haul, 21 * 50l packed soil for the thuja fence. Just a perfect cubic meter amount that fits nicely to the bed and you can still close the mountain top bed cover. Prolly need another load for it.

Took a trip to Santos Mountain Bike Trails in Ocala, Florida, and spent the night in Tillis Hill Recreation Area in Withlacoochee State Forest.

Who knew that even in death, one's political leanings were so evident?
Grandpa was a loyal Republican until the day he died but after that he voted straight Democrat.

What did the bottom deceased say to the top deceased? "I hope this tailgate has a damper!"
Absolutely.

This was actually from Saturday (too wore out to post it same day). We had a pine tree removed from in front of the house - it was just off the corner of the house - and after it was gone, it showed how bad the flower bed was. I hauled 10 bags of mulch and a bag of planting soil (to move the hydrangea in the second & third photos). Still have some work to do, but looks a lot better than it did.
