I had to do a double take, I thought it was Cliffhanger in Sedona. No way in hell can a stock ranger make it down or up the Cliffhanger section. 2.0 looks cool, glad the rangers could handle it! ?Conquered Cliffhanger 2.0 earlier this morning! You need to improve your aim John - can’t miss out on free BBQ.My Ingot XLT took us almost all the way to Mexico this morning. We left Marfa (in West Texas) and headed southwest (into the middle of nowhere). I'd heard about a scenic canyon called Pinto Canyon. It was a beautiful place. I was in 4-high for the last part of the drive and even dipped down into the canyon for a while.
But, we were in a very very remote place with no buddy vehicle and no outside communications (except for my Spot device). I probably worked a quarter of the way down into the canyon and then turned around. I'll go back this spring when I can bring a friend and a second 4x4 with me. The Ranger did great. The only close call was when a huge Javelina (at his top speed) tried to run under us.
I'm close, but am not yet desperate enough to eat a Javelina.
Obviously you didn't read this in my AVS installation thread. Not sure on replacements.Installed my avs bug deflector. During installation I dropped a fastner in the engine area. Can't find it. Anyone know where to find a replacement?
Glad you are able to get out and about! Health is everything.Well it's been a long 2 weeks without driving the Ranger at all after my Hernia repair surgery. So I really enjoyed getting out for a drive to my local hobby shop to pick up some supplies. It's so nice to enjoy the simple things in life.
