Also in a host city - the area is not seeing the expected Hotel etc bookings as they had hoped, not sure if it’s really going to be a big thing here in North America. I guess Football is not Football as we know and love. We shall see here soon - I guess.
Even Airline - bookings are not really elevated over normal summer bookings.

One big reason for lack of (World Cup) sales are the prices. I was reading where ticket prices were $1,200 +/each and parking was ranging from $150.00 - $250.00 which is high especially seeing that Soccer/Football isn't as big here as it is in other countries. Also, credit cards are maxed out and at an all time high then add in growing political tension, higher gas prices, airline & hotel prices, inflation and everything else it's obvious why attendance is way down.

I'm going to limit it to this. The fact that FIFA is not as big in North America is not really relevant as there are plenty of fans around the world that would happily travel to experience the World Cup if they could afford to do so. If this had taken place in any other economic-political environment, tickets would be sold out and people living in the host cities who weren't interested in being there for the games would have no problem renting out their place on AirBNB, VRBO, etc.

Case in point: The last World Cup in Dubai, which is NOT AT ALL known for its football (yes, I'm using the proper name for a game where the majority of the players actually DO touch the ball with their feet) and yet which was completely sold out.

I agree and didn't want to get too political but that's one of the main reasons. Foreign fans are (I'll be nice and say leery) about coming here now because of immigration and also that ICE is said to be at the games in Foxboro and I'm sure many other stadiums around the country. I do believe the US fan base is very small and it's showing because without all the foreign travelers the games are just not selling out. I've tried to watch it but just never cared for it and most that I know are the same. My guess is that it'll probably be the last time here for a while.

Foreign fans that come to the US to see the games have to have some kind of legit passport or visa to get through customs. What on earth do they have to be leery of if they have entered the country legally to see a sporting event?

The media!

As you know they've been know to fuel the flames on how things are here to fit their narrative and unfortunately too many still believe them. I see it on another forum I'm on that has a political section and how much disinformation there is on there yet some still believe every word the media feeds them. Critical thinking has gone the way of common sense today. :(

Sadly, visa or not, there’s still a risk of getting turned back when you land.

But there’s a simple explanation for why bookings for FIFA World Cup are so low….

Now time to get to cutting and installing Readylift crash bars. I’m having the hardest time getting the bolts loose on the factory crash bars. Anybody got any tips for get those bolts to break free?

I believe one end is a bolt, the other is a welded nut. IIRC, the top is the bolt.

What Duke said.
There’s a post in one of the threads where a member was trying to remove a stubborn bolt and it was really taking a lot of work. I think they resorted to a long breaker bar with a length of pipe as a cheater. I believe they were successful and that’s when they realized they were working on a welded nut. 😆
