Had some time so I attacked my rear brakes.

living in Ohio, those rear rotors really needed some persuasion to come off. Otherwise everything really went without a hitch. Driver side rotor didn’t go on completely, so I really had to clean some surface rust off the hub with a wire brush and then it popped on. That said, when the wheel went on one of the lug nuts was a bit tighter. It wasn’t cross threaded. I checked several times. I think the rotor maybe had a hair more space to fully seat. I used the required star pattern and torqued to spec tho so… should be fine. I’ll be sure to check torque again next week.

drove the truck and did some 20mph braking and 30 mph braking to bed the pads in. Absolutely no squeak or noise. So for now I’m happy!

I’ll do the front next week when I have time again.

I installed the INJEN Cold Air Intake last week. I reinstalled the OEM air snorkle in an attempt to funnel more cold air into the new air box. Fitment was an issue so I busted out the Dremel and hacked it up. Now, it fits perfectly and aims air straight at the filter. The INJEN CAI is replacing my ROUSH CAI (sacrilege ?). Already sold it on Ebay for $200 ?. But I'm ok with it because I can feel the boost in torque and turbo noise.

I also painted that polished coolant expansion tank to match my new engine cover... that I also had to cut up to fit around my oil separator.

Finally got the Project M installed. I lost about 3 mpg, so hovering at around 15.5 now. Overall first impressions are great. Quality build and I’m looking forward to a more enjoyable camping experience!

@AndyMedic got a deflector for the roof that helped with mileage and noise. Looks good too.

that’s a sweet camper setup.

I like those Injen intakes they look beefy and mean, but it's so dusty in CO I'd wins up with moon dust in my engine for sure. I need to go snorkel and get further away from the ground for dirt road driving ?

I also bought the filter sock. It's breathable but keeps dust & dirt off the filter element. And it's supposed to be easy to clean.

No. Looks like someone hit me with a plastic bumper. But the hitch is perfectly fine!! So of course it was missed, and the bumper was hit instead. It looks okay. If anything, its pushed to the cab. Just ever so slightly. Its just a paint tranfer from the other vehicle. So it appears. Ill work on it tomorrow. Thats why we cant have nice things.
Aww don’t get discouraged.. we should just have heavy duty nice things like one of those bad ass off-road bumpers.. ? like the kind that make it into a makeshift tank ?.
