Zaius, does this particular roof rack require drilling for attaching?
Drilling holes in my roof always puts the pause on any roof rack for me, living in a wet climate…
Nice swept streamlined roof rack.
We’ll all enjoy pics of it installed.
Yes it does.

I thought about one of the clamp on style racks, but after I decided that I'm keeping this truck for the long haul I also decided to get a permanently mounted version.

Here is a link to the website. Scroll down and there's a link to download the full install guide.

Yikes quite the install.
Think I’ll keep with my backpack style of travel and camp…
Yeah, it's definitely gonna be a Spring Day project.

I already bought the drill bit and drill stop.

My luck I would immediately drill into the curtain airbag.

In yesterday's issue of how I'm spending my retirement money, I installed the Ford armored sill protectors on my 21 SCAB. They are made by Bushwacker. They don't fit perfectly to the pinch welds to say the least but they're alright. I wouldnt buy them again though. Previous owner had some small metal sill protectors on and hot glued them. Needless to say they came off and took some paint with them. Shit.

Shortly after buying our 2020 SCab, I installed the Bushwacker "Ford Ranger Trail Armor Rocker Panel & Sill Plate Combo Set". Couldn't be happier. Excellent fit/coverage, rock solid, and basically indestructible. Not even a scuff after years of tromping in/out with our dirty hiking boots.

With several 2-sided tape strips for installation, they are a bit challenging to get fully seated. If not fully seated, they won't reach the pinch weld.

I contacted Bushwacker to suggest making an additional piece to cover in front of the rear tires to protects from rock chips. Crickets. So far our PPF is holding up.

Changed the oil! Love that. Always warms my heart seeing the happiness of the receiving vehicle.

When I was updating the maintenance records I realized that it’s only a few days away from the Tremor’s birthday! Will be 2 years on the 27th. Gave my baby an extra rub while cleaning up after the oil change.:inlove:

Getting ready to run into town with the Warden. Can’t wait! Vehicles always run so sweetly after a fresh oil change.

Two years and still cannot get enough of my Ranger. Love that truck.

Roger that, I have the same ones. Beautiful SCab! I'm sure they'll hold up based on your feedback. I'd say if there is a slight design flaw it's that the pinchweld protrudes in a few spots and isn't flat all the way across. It's slight but noticeable when you look up close. The bottom touches and sticks to them but has a small gap otherwise. Not horrible but not awesome.

Swapped out the crappy ARB Fog Lights for some nice diode dynamic fog lights, added new charge pipes and an intercooler from CVF. What an nightmare. I can tell right off the bat the Ranger is a lot more responsive on the on the throttle and makes more turbo sounds.

I am sad to report for @Colo_Ranger and @Dhouse ...I tried my damnedest, but you have to remove the bumper and the facia. I could not get the grille out with the bumper on and could not extract/install the old/new intercooler with the facia on, that or I am not skilled enough. Luckily for me I set my bumper up so I could remove it a little easier....Still a PITA. Took me all day with help.

I also didnt take a pic of the charge pipes, unless you knew what you were looking at they honestly look pretty standard.

On a side note while I was looking for for the fitment instructions so I could re-torque all the bolts I noticed ARB has removed the fitment instructions and Summit bumper for the 5G from their website.

Looks good! What brackets did you use for the fogs?
