Installed my right toolbox. I had ordered both boxes from Ford Accessories. The right one had a broken hinge so I sent it back. Fedex dropped it off at Ford on 1/30/2024, signed for by LLOUIS. Still waiting on refund. :( I reordered the right toolbox this past Thursday and showed up my house Saturday. Big difference between when you pay Ford and when Ford needs to pay you.

Received my programmer and tune from Unleashed today and holy crap what a difference. I was always satisfied with how the truck drove before, but now it feels like an entirely new truck. Love it. Went with a 93oct performance tune with the TorqueRules trans strategy, and a 87oct tow safe tune for when I’m in areas without reliable fuel quality. Next step will be minor exhaust and intake work. Then on to better suspension options. The suspension and full set of skid plates will go in once the weather warms up here, it’s too cold for extended garage sessions ?
Travis I have the unleashed tune and it is so awesome. Shifts way better and sure does hall butt! I have the Borla exhaust and really like the sound but you really don't notice it much unless you have the windows down.

Sunny and 68* today so the Ranger got a bath and tire shine on the new tires. Took the sandbags and their rack out of the bed. New knee is doing well but not up to climbing into the bed yet so that was a comical adventure luckily not caught on video. Might be getting one of those tailgate ladders after all.

gave abbs a oil change today. truck said only 10% oil life left. I was shocked. checked and topped fluids while at it. gave my driveway the mobil 1 water proofing by missing the pan while removing the old filter. i feel a red neck invention coming to the next oil change to solve this problem. empty milk jug and funnel should do it.

Got the face for new spindle design all cut out. Stopped real quick to start building the little cousin a brace so his bed doesn’t tweak so much.

Dang, peeps out there fabricating hardcore mods and all I can manage to do is fail at sticking some shackles on! =D

Fail on those hammerloks, I pounded and pounded but no love and my C-clamps weren't big enough, so either some smaller and better quality hammerloks, or a bigger C-clamp (US-made 10 inch for $65!).

even finding an American-made nozzle can be tough (the old one died after 40 years)

actually used my Model T wrench to remove the anti-rattle clamp - kind of neat and maybe the first time that wrench has been used in the last 100 years

I've had these hitch spacers for a year and decided to move the Tow'N'Stow out because I stand on it when loading leaves, this way it's wider and flatter

That stuff is amazing. Now that you have the dispenser bottle just buy the gallon refill. Used to use PB blaster but just stunk too bad and took too long to peneterate. I use a lot of their Sewing machine oil also. Great stuff.

It was magical seeing how thin yet clingy the oil was as I precisely applied tiny drop via the dispenser. What a great tool to add to the arsenal - thank you again for mentioning it and it'll always have a place on the workbench. =)

I have several summer projects for it, including my 50-year old bottle jack that got this topic broken free (see what I did there! LOL). I have a feeling I should go ahead an order that gallon refill you mention because that 52-year old Land Cruiser's gonna drink that up! Maybe I'll be able to use my nut splitter less! =)

I finally installed a cheap ignition bezel. $8. Cool to not have the keys move around like before. Fit like it came from the factory.
Nicely done! Those "little" things do add up and make it a nicer truck, imo.

I also like not stabbing the key in the wrong place. The feel and sound of it going to the side was like nails on the chalkboard to me.
