Nothing major. I didn't do it myself but I got the windows tinted. They look super dark in this photo. They aren't that dark.

Do you know what percent they used? Getting my bedliner and tint done next Wednesday?

Sure, but what were the scores on the math portion of your SATs?
To tell you the truth my SAT score in math sucked and I know that's 100% sure!!

How can you possibly "hand calculate" 27.1 when you only have 8 fingers and 2 thumbs ???
Even adding toes, that's still only 20. And how do you figure out the .1 ???
I counted one of my lil toes as the .1

tell the truth, you only got that MPG when the ranger was on a trailer being towed somewhere. . .

I think I calculated ~15 MPG last time I calculated it . . .

Today I tackled a big project. I installed the ARB single in the Decked ammo can. I ran the wire down the frame to the engine bay and then wired it through the 40a breaker. Breaker location is temporary, I think, since I have a lot more wiring to do, but it works for now. Next up will be removing my Auxbeam controller and installing my Lightforce switch panel. When I do, the switch wire for the relay will be moved to my Lightforce and everything else can stay the same (or be adjusted. I have to run 7 wires through the firewall for the switches, a power and ground for my GMRS radio, and the antenna cable. I am moving the antenna and, in my wisdom, I bound the power/ground and antenna wires together when I ran them last time... so I can't pull one without pulling them all. Its okay though, it will be worth it in the end.

I do want to do something to the wires coming up from the ammo can to the bed, most likely electrical tape to make it stand out less and make it harder to catch on things. I may also pull the wire and reroute the entire thing through somewhere else, if I end up catching it on things. I had to pull the entire left side of the Decked out, so it was no short task.

All in all, I am quite happy with how it turned out. Tomorrow I will probably sneak back under the truck and make sure that I zip tie the power/ground/switch wires so they don't move. They were routed pretty snugly, but you can never be too sure.

Buy a roll of that plastic like wire loom from Amazon, it will look better than electrical tape in the long run...

Also, could the wire run to the front of the bed and out one of the front bed grommets?

Just Saturday morning quarter backing your nice install :)

I don’t like the plastic loom. I have this mesh stuff, but it’s not big enough for the 8 gauge (x2) and trigger wire. I thought about running it through the front grommets like you’re talking about but it meant I’d have to pull the decked completely out which, yesterday seemed like too much. I’ve been fighting a cold and got tired and tunnel vision. I will probably do that, but it’s does make for a lot of extra work.

In my mind I was thinking of this...

25ft - 1/2 inch PET Expandable Braided Sleeving – BlackRed – Alex Tech Braided Cable Sleeve https://a.co/d/gFFB2D1

And I can understand the tired and tunnel vision.

How much work was the decked system to install? Hours wise? I am considering it once I move out to your neck of the woods as an alternative to my current large green army surplus box ratchet strapped into the bed...

I bought mine used, so some of the assembly was already done. Took us about 3 hours to do the full install. Removal and reinstall would be about 5, if I had to guess. Probably tomorrows project, if I’m being honest. I slept on it and I’m not thrilled with the wire run now that I’m rested. It’s not a necessity, but I’ll probably tackle it tomorrow. A second set of hands is necessary because of the size of the frame, once it’s built.

I've had some time to think about it and I ordered the linked above. I actually have that stuff in 1/4 and 1/8 size, but ran out of the 1/2" size. It will be delivered today. Tomorrow will be R&R of the Decked so I can cut an 'x' in the rubber grommet at the front of the bed, then down under the cab and back up to the engine bay. This project is about rewiring all my devices so I am happy, which means I get to do this a second time.

Hopefully you're not as under the weather tomorrow too :)

I used that stuff to loom some water line from a bladder to faucet and to help slow abrasion on wiring... Plus, it comes in pretty colors and makes the install look nicer.

:)

Looking forward to the final, final install.

I pulled the Decked system out today and now I am just waiting for the loom stuff to arrive... Tomorrow will be an early day and I will get it completed. My garage is a disaster...
