Well dropped it off to have struts put on, despite being told over the phone otherwise, They refused to replace the strut.

Nobody is willing to do it due to "no customer supplied" parts. Which is shitty for me but understandable.

Got Bilstein 4600 struts for $200 if intersted...

Do you not have any custom 4x4 shops in your area?

Braggart?
? ? It was kind of funny Bob, because I saw this small black cylinder in the bottom corner of the case and thought, “What the heck is that thing?”

I might be the only person to ever recover one. It’s still in my pocket - I better put it in the socket set case before it’s gone again.

That’s annoying. Man, I wish I was close by - I‘d have you drive over one morning and we’d get them on before lunch - of course, you’d be buying lunch. ? I hope you can find someone without having to sell those coil overs.

Just the struts. Bilstein doesn't make loaded struts/coils for the ranger for some reason.
If I had the entire assembly then I would be more inclined to do it myself since it's within my skill set.

It's the whole Compressing a coil spring and having the the spring launch into my face bit that I need a shop to do it.

I misread the last part of your post and was confused.
He doesn't want to drive hid car. Rather drive dad's truck. You know its prom time in Missouri when all the red necks wash their trucks.

Installed the Terrain Management button and enabled it in Forscan. While in Forscan I also ran the ABS "Mushy Brake" fix again (ran it about a year ago). Brakes did firm up.....guess I'll be bleeding the lines this weekend.
I’ve wanted to do this, I haven’t used Forscan before, though I might have a guy locally who can set it up for me. What’s the process like? Easy as swapping buttons and updating a code? How long did this take you, and was it difficult or technical?

any info would help, thanks.

Scored another deal for Ranger. Although I had to drive her 1.5 hours out amd another 1.5 back it was so worth buying a brand new intercooler for less than half the cost. Nice older guy was going to purchase a ranger, but deal fell through.

check with brakes plus, if you have them in your area. They swapped my top hats to the OME for $120 (ish).
