What a perfect day :)

Why we are still arguing over dampers?
Just install Alf in your Ranger and you’ll have magic muscles to open and close the tailgate with one finger like me.

Ok, here’s the secret?

I love Alf and he helps with stray cats.

I also love that torsion bar tailgate thing and wished it would fit US models. I bet it works nicely.

Dave, doesen't that second swing case cut down on the available room for "dump stuff"?
As often as you make dump runs, taking those swing cases off and on seems like it would get old quickly ......
On a better note, hooking up the camper tonight to head up to Bedford Pa. to visit the 9-11 Memorial. Been to the NY and Pentagon Memorials and the Flight 93 Memorial is finally on our to do visit list.
It does make dump runs more challenging BUT .. give me an excuse to install a small rafter winch in the garage. Just back in and lift them off! =D

That's awesome about visiting the memorials, pass on a prayer from me please. We must never forget.

And what camper do you have?

Kate and I are keen on getting something so that the Little Terror known as Cheech can come with us.

lazy? smart? or just lazy ass?

Wait! What is this!?!?! No way! HAHAHAHA
When I was waiting for the Ranger, I watched pretty much every YouTube video on Rangers. This torsion bar thing seems really mice and helps up and down. But only for other Rangers ...

We have this...Jayco 24RL. Pretty much the max for the Ranger, but it handles it well.
Additionally, we have had rv's for most of out lives, but one important reason is the ability to take the pup's with us....we would never, ever, consider boarding them, unless it was a family emergency. Where we go, they go.

Thanks for sharing. Now I know what it’s called in English and still have no idea how it’s in Estonian language.
Unfortunately there are more words I know in English but can’t say in Estonian ?

What on earth are you putting in there that a winch is required to lift them?

We help people sell their Rangers in the easiest way possible.

today the Ranger locked me out !!! laid the keys/fob on the console, after I let my little buddy out of the truck, I hit the lock button on the door & closed the doors.

fortunately the boss was still at home when I called & she brought the spare fob to me.
only a 20 minute ride for her but it was not on her schedule so now I am in the dog house with my little buddy. :crying: it will take a lot of work to make up for this mistake.........

That's a nice floor plan, I see that you can get theater seats in it too! That sounds like a great fit for you and it would be for us too.

A few places to sit would be good for bad weather. Kate has to keep her leg elevated as much as possible (lymphedema from cancer surgery) so a theater seat, banquet, and bed would be great options. LOL, plus she could retreat if she ever needed a break from me! =D

Any issues with sheets? I see it's just a tad smaller than a residential queen (but would one fit of we changed the mattress?). Not a big deal because I'm the tall one of the two of us at a hulking 5'6" (really 5'5" by the end of the day).

Thanks for the pic, I can't wait to share it with Kate (awesome size awning too!).

Someone was busting Soupie's dump capabilities with those in place and I agree that it's annoying to remove them regularly, so why not install a ceiling hoist?

I've got damper arms, so I can probably get it as a medical necessity!

Yes, we special ordered it so it has the theater seating which is basically 2 recliners. We also opted to swap out the dinette for a free standing table and chairs. This floor plan is also nice as it allows us to "get away" from the other in a separate space, the living area or the bedroom area...both have tv sets.
Sheets for an rv "short queen" are not a problem...available from lots of places.
Mattress in most rv's of this type are for sh-t....we have almost always had to add a topper of some type...we added a 3 inch memory foam topper to the supplied mattress and it is now just perfect.
Owning an rv is like the Ranger....there is always something to add, modify, until it "yours"
