What did you do to your Ranger today?

I've modified again my chinbar, and added hooks while practicing welding. They are in no way rated, altough they are M22 U bolts made for tractor plows to hold earth mashing discs - obviously I do not know the correct terminology for the item .

I don't think these ones were available back when I picked up the generic smoked ones on eBay (straight from China). I usually go with quality vs. cheap. I wonder if you really do get what you pay for as Morimoto is claiming, because I got two sets for less than half their price. I guess time will tell.

I'm ok with the quality, they fit and looked fine. Not sure what I was thinking about the sequential blinking. Thought maybe it was one time when they turned on. Its constant. Though I wouldn't see it, the person in the next lane may think its a turn signal. Oh well, $20 lesson learned. I'm back to tinted stock now.

Installed 589 Fab Shock Skids... pretty stout and sure seems like they will definitely provide excellent protection.

I thought about modifying it to be on constant but would likely destroy the housing in the process.

2.5” RC leveling kit, 1.5” Factionfab spacers, rear bars adjusted as far back as they will go, front bars removed. Probably could’ve trimmed them. I have plenty of room.

I have the Ready Lift 3” level kit and 1” BORA spacers. When I get the 285’s, I’ll probably install the Ready Lift intrusion bars for additional clearance.

I finally got time to install the Bilstein 5100 rear shocks this morning. Took about 20 minutes and then a test drive. Big difference on ride quality. I don't think i will need to upgrade the fronts,..at least not yet.
I used a jack on my back hitch and lifted the truck body a few inches to relieve the shocks slightly. After that it was very easy. Compressing the shocks wasn't too bad. I over compress the shock and then slip the bolt in as the shock slowly extended by the hole.

Installed the black exhaust tip I got from Amazon.

Sawzall cut through the tailpipe in literally 8 seconds.

Pulled the trigger on a set of LT285/70R17 BFG AT KO2 6 plys. Not quite as smooth a ride as my coopers were but I just absolutely love the look. Ordered 6 just in case of an out of round tire (you know.... BFG curse) 5 were excellent and one was an egg lol.

Looks freakin awesome man.

Lets see.. Installed sound sound deadning mat on the backwall of the cab as well as closed cell foam around the rear vents to cut down on road and wind noise.

Removed the HVAC control assembly to plasti-dip the nav screen bezel due to the glare.

Painted the front tow hooks and installed an AVS bug/rock shield.
