I did my Dif fluids at 25K and they said it was nasty. I'd advise others to seriously change out your fluids way before the recommended mileage.
Why are the diff's so hard on fluids?

Hi Folks,

I bid my Ranger good bye as I backed the Nautilus out of the garage. I know it was sad, but where we go for our Tax Guy, parking is narrow and short and I did not want the tailgate damper hit by some myopic old fart in his Lexus hitting the ass end of the Ranger which would stick way beyond the parking "space". So I will make amends with the Ranger on Friday when it gets to head to the local sports bar for a early dinner and some malted beverages...

Best,
Phil
I just about fell out of my chair while reading the first few words of your post. I thought you'd sold the Ranger. "Phil? Phil?! No way Phil sold the Ranger?!?! What's the Ranger world coming to?!?!?" For a few nanoseconds I was in complete and utter disbelief.

Don't do that again Phil. Not good for my health.

Please tell me about the hardware that secures your fairlead! I want something for securing a hook when I run one (right now I'm running a shackle attachment).

Today I had some new rubber installed.

Ran into a pack of wild nails and bolts that were crossing the road on my way home which killed the 265/70r17 Goodyear Duratracs for which I didn’t have replacement certs for. Ouch. At 38k they still had plenty of life left but weren’t patchable. Soooo this morning I went to Discount Tire where they threw on meaty BFG KO2 LT285/70r17s. First off I love the look with the lettering out but will absolutely need to trim the crash bars a little bit, even with 2.5” level and +25 offset.

Happy with them so far but man do they feel heavy compared to the Goodyears. Expecting a hit to MPG but I knew that going in lol

Ouch, sorry to hear about your previous tires. Glad to see you got some new ones though, they look great (even if your wallet might have suffered)

Hood struts came today! So much for installing them Saturday morning. Hey! Who said you have to eat on your lunch break?!?!? It was my "hood strut break" today.

And as a bonus, the console tray that I'd almost forgotten about arrived at the same time!!!!! Gotta say, love the struts but man oh man am I loving that tray. Did NOT like just having a big hole for the console storage. Tray makes it 10K times better.

Now if I can just drive my truck! Hasn't moved since Monday evening. Luckily I've got bunches of errands to run tomorrow.

Thank you! And yeah tires are wayyy more expensive now than the last few times I bought them. But this time I made sure to pay extra for replacement certificates:LOL:

I have the same tray except with red trim to go with the Tremor theme. Not including it is another spot where Ford dropped the ball.

Sorry to hear about the encounter with the pack of wild nails, but hey - the bigger rubber looks fantastic! We appreciate the support :sunglasses:

Owned this since december and keeping modifying it, added the winch tray & winch, just put new wheels and tires on the other day and removed the plastic bed liner. Put a bed mat down as well as a tailgate rug and added 2 swing cases. Was going to Rhino line the bed but seeing how good of shape the bed walls are in & I have a tonneau cover i'm thinking of just leaving it alone. Readylift intrusion bars are this weekend and the Torch 2.5" leveling kit is going on when it warms up. Currently playing around with a couple different % Star tunes and they have really woken this thing up.

Must really be a heavy winch, she looks like she's taking a nose-dive!
