I've never been able to eat breakfast food at breakfast time but those look good. I just can't stomach anything heavy first thing in the morning so it's just a bowl of cereal or a muffin for me. I will usually eat something like this for lunch or dinner (with eggs and bacon) and Pecan pancakes are my favorite!

That looks most awesome. And I just had salmon last night.
Place bacon on skewers, put on grill and sprinkle with brown sugar, coat with pure maple syrup just before you pull it off the grill. May not be the healthiest thing but holy crap is it good……..

Healthy eating is sooooo over-rated.

Salmon candy is basically sockeye salmon that has been smoked using honey and maple syrup. It’s typically found in the PNW, British Columbia, and Alaska. There’s just something about Pacific salmon and thousands of years of perfecting the process that can’t be beat.

You can still get some of those flavours from a short cold smoke, grilling and brushing with maple syrup after the flip. Grilling on a cedar plank will give you an added layer of flavour.
