Not tonight but this morning, I made some flapjacks for breakfast with lots of butter and plenty of maple syrup.

I've never been able to eat breakfast food at breakfast time but those look good. I just can't stomach anything heavy first thing in the morning so it's just a bowl of cereal or a muffin for me. I will usually eat something like this for lunch or dinner (with eggs and bacon) and Pecan pancakes are my favorite!

If you like bananas, loosely mash a small banana, or half of one, into the batter and add pecans as you normally would. The idea is to have some small pieces of banana mixed in. Delicious!

The first pork shoulder roast cooked in my new smoker. I'll be using this baby a lot as it's the most tender and juicy roast I've ever had. Cooked up about 4 large chicken breast last night as a test run which came out great too.
