Went wheel shopping today and came up empty. Any suggestions?

I went to Discount Tire this morning shopping for a set of aftermarket bronze wheels for the truck that would work with the factory size tires for now, and then later a set of 255/70R17 tires or a set 265/65R17s. Wheels in either 17×8.5 or 17×9 with the +25 offset. Remember that this is my daily driver and sees mostly highway. Please post pics with your suggestions. Thank you.

I am a strong believer in just buying factory wheels. I got a set of black 17's that would have come on the splash package and I love them. I bought them from Detroit wheel and tire on eBay and they were great to deal with.

Love my Fuel Shok...they make other styles but they're great for price/value IMO...

Thank you for giving me a direction to go in Sid. I never knew that there were that many aftermarket wheels to choose from for the 5th generation Ranger. I like the Fuel Shoks that you have on your truck. I have screen shots of of yours and other members trucks on here who are also running the Fuel Shok wheels. Do you happen to remember how much they for the set? I believe that is what I'm going to shoot for in bronze, I think it will accent the dirty black paint better than the factory charcoal wheels.

Thanks Duke! Don't quote me but I think they were like under $300 per wheel...that was 6 years ago so I'd shop around...mine's Anthracite...

Me either, on a serious note though, thank you for your help Sid. Your build up of your truck is what got me thinking about aftermarket wheels for mine and have it be over the road Raptor clone.

you are going to have a hard time finding a +25. Our trucks use a weird offset stock (although the new Tacoma is using +55 now too). The old Toyotas use 0 offset quite a bit. You can do OE offset with 1" spacers or 0 offset.

I've only ever found +25 as Ford wheels. There are a ton of cool 0 offset wheels but... that would poke a bit.
