Weeping between transfer case and transmission?

Discovered this yesterday while I was under the truck. I noticed some areas looked like it had oily residue on it and traced it back up to where it looks like the trans mates up with the transfer case. I recently did a fluid swap on transfer case but areas I was working in are far enough away to make suspect something is possibly weeping from a seal? I don’t have any spots on the driveway indicating a major leak but nevertheless I’m still worried. Has anyone seen this before? The pic is where I think it’s coming from.

It looks so faint. Clean and monitor it. Could be anything honestly. Put some cardboard under the truck when parked too just to be sure.

Ok I haven’t cleaned it yet. Whatever leaked is now mixed with thick black grease and grime so it’s basically impossible to see what color the fluid is. I’ll clean it up ASAP and continue to monitor it.

Does anyone know what that area is called or how I would describe that area to a mechanic if I was able to talk to one?

Rear mating flange of transmission. Or say you think it is the rear seal of the transmission or front seal of transfer case

did you check fluid levels?

I did check trans level and it was about the same. I’m going to check again today. Not sure how I can go about checking the TC fluid level..?
