I park underneath trees. The space between the cab and bed fills up with organic material. Over time this is going to cause rot on both sides. A few years back I cleaned It out with a stick as best I could but this was tedious. none Of my vacuums have a thin enough hose to get down in there. The gap is not accessible from underneath. waiting on an extension rod for my compressor to blow it out. what has anyone done to prevent this area from collecting leaves ? parking elsewhere is not an option

Agreed. I used an air compressor with an extension want to blow out the debris.
thanks to all the good people here for their suggestions and advice . I went with the foam pipe solution. It’s already doing the job. It doesn’t look bad as it blends well with magnetic gray.

HAs anyone else looked at the space between the cab and box. I wash my truck regularly in the driverway. My 2020 was full of leaves and sticks. Today, I have used the garden hose, my air compressor air and "carefully" a streched out clothes hanger. I still have old leaves and sticks at the bottom of the gap. Who was the genius who designed this "feature".

It’s pretty tight in there - thankfully, my topper keeps a lot of that stuff out.

I’m convinced these guys are to blame.

I was gonna suggest air compressor, but you did that ?… it’s looking like a pull the bed for a deep cleaning once a year?..

In another similar thread someone used a piece of pipe insulation which seemed to work.

I found the other thread and have merged them to see the past results.
