That's a great picture Bryan! ? It must have been great without the crowds and to have the place basically to yourself. Although we've met some really great people along the way so that's been nice talking with them and getting good ideas too.

It’s so worth the trek. You had awesome weather compared to when I was there. That speck leaning on the arch is me. The images are always great but to really appreciate the scale of everything in this corner of Utah, it has to be seen in person.

I see we have the same petroglyph shot - just twenty years apart.

It really is a place everyone should see. I‘m glad you and Annie made it there Dave. ??

Duke that must have been a slippery trek up and down in the rain on the shelf rock? You'd throw a hip out trying that today but you were young and agile then.

You are so right that you just can't grasp the size of any of these until you're standing next to them. When I was under Balanced Rock it looked like I was standing at the base of the Sears Tower in Chicago.

You're right it is a place that everyone should see and experience the beauty of Utah. There are so many amazing places here we can't decide what to do next. Even while off road there are so many things you'll never see like the Gemini Bridges and all the other spires out in the middle of nowhere.

Speaking of bellies to rub…the ASU Spirit Squad showed up at Dave’s for the party too. GO SUN DEVILS!

Then, things really started to get out of hand. Someone called the cops (I’m pretty sure it was either @Glocker or @Fawnbuster ) and these two guys showed up….I don’t think they even carried guns.

They were clearly in over their heads and called for backup right away. Well, two more pretty boys came to help…

After they stopped laughing, the Spirit Squad put down their drinks and beat the tar out of the four of them. Everyone cheered and the party continued...

Unfortunately, not long after that, this guy showed up…

The first thing I did was get off the lawn…because, you know. Needless to say, the place cleared out immediately and that’s when we discovered this…

Don’t worry Dave, we’ll have this place cleaned up and looking like new before you get back.

Dave, Keep the pictures coming I think I have my wife convinced into a road trip once we retire. She also loves your pictures.

@Rick V. Rick, tell your wife that the last thing you both want to be doing is sitting on the front porch in your 80's saying "I wish we would have..........." (fill in the blank). We know life's short brother, and you don't want to miss anything you had a chance to see. Luckily I had a chance to retire (the 2nd time at 55). Since 2010 we have taken a long (5+K miles), and we haven't seen it all yet. It's a beautiful country we are blessed to live in my friend, so get out there and see it all.
