Hit the Ranger last night with the Collinite wax I mentioned above. Liquid, goes on easy, but on the blue it seems to streak no matter how much I buff. My uncle who gave it to me has a yellow Corvette so if it streaks for him you'd never see it. Washed it again tonight even though it wasn't dirty to get the streaks out. Collinite does bead water like crazy.
I clay bar it once or twice a year.
Paste wax, I use Meguier's Gold Class.
For extra spit shine I like a locally made product called RivStar Showcar Glaze. Straight liquid carnuba, helluva shine but it will strip off whatever wax is already there and it doesn't last real long. RivStar also makes a detail spray that works nice but it smells awful. You need to throw the cloth in either the washer, the back yard, or the garbage when you're done.
At the Carlisle Ford Nationals a month ago with RivStar Glaze and Detail Spray:

The hybrid ceramic is working well for me as well.
Just did my Ranger with it last weekend. Second time I've used it on the Ranger and quite pleased. I'm not kidding when I say I see the beading still on my hood at close to a year after use... and it's lots of small beads, not like big blops spaced out.

I used to be obsessed with detailing products but nowadays I keep it simple .. I throughly clean it then I’ll use meguiars hybrid ceramic wax every couple months and I’ll use p&s beadmaker after every wash to help with the drying and water spots

I just tried the Mequiar's Hybrid Ceramic and it is awesome! First application, I did as directed. For the second one I did today, I mixed a little in a Home Depot spray bottle with a couple cups of distilled water. Sprayed an area and wiped it down with a microfiber until it was dry. It looks awesome. That stuff works great!
