I thought the wording on this NHTSA announcement sounded weird. Do they not consider valve breakage engine failure?

"Ford announced a recall on 90,736 vehicles that sport either a 2.7L or 3.0L Nano EcoBoost engine. Engine intake valves could break while driving, which would increase the risk of engine failure, NHTSA announced."

I thought they already ? did the "valve breaky thingy fall and jam up the engine" in the Broncos ? This is a different breaky thingy?
Pretty sure our 2.3's have all Vibranium engine parts ?

Creative writing on someone's part. Fact is, too many engine internal parts seem to be failing today at an increased rate. QC, quality control, is definitely lax too much of the time. Cost cutting gone over the edge?

I know Ford is reading these forums. This is the sentiment towards your brand. All these recalls and non action on other failures has tarnished your reputation.

Your last statement is what it is. Everyone trying to be hyper competitive at a cost.

if an exhaust valve fails it may not destroy the engine.
