Every car looks better with steelies and rangers are no exception
  2. Fog vs. Spot vs. Flood vs. Driving Light: Which Beam Pattern is Best for You? (With Real Case Sharing)

Rather than replace the bulbs or whole assembly you can pick up some amber fog light tint and keep the lights as-is. Pretty popular in the Subaru community
  3. So i drove my 2019 straight to the dealership when had loss of power bogging and dash lighting up... seen its the tube sensor thing going to clutch fa

Iā€™m on board with this theory. The stress mustnā€™t be huge otherwise the the wiring would be ripped the instant the hose breaks. Instead myself and others have been driving around for an unknown period of time with a broken hose and the wiring taking all of the ā€˜stressā€™
  4. So i drove my 2019 straight to the dealership when had loss of power bogging and dash lighting up... seen its the tube sensor thing going to clutch fa

I would agree with these statements if the hose had a clean break but the hose is literally disintegrating in my fingers. This leads me to believe itā€™s either poor manufacturing or wrong material for the job. Photo of temp fix to get me to the store for some hoes
  5. So i drove my 2019 straight to the dealership when had loss of power bogging and dash lighting up... seen its the tube sensor thing going to clutch fa

Thanks for the write up sandog. Going to go this route myself after my hose deteriorated and snapped at passenger side connection
  6. iPhone 15 USB C and wired CarPlay problems

I believe the compulsory mifi certification ended with the lightning cable. In any case my $7.99 for 2 cables from Amazon work great https://9to5mac.com/2023/09/15/iphone-15-usb-c-port-compatibility/
  7. iPhone 15 USB C and wired CarPlay problems

iPhone 15 with Anker usb to usb c cable works great. Zero issues in the past 2 weeks while I would have had to reset radio 2x in this time due to older iPhone not being recognized
  8. Parking Brake Adjustment

Ended up being a 5 minute fix. Instead of taking the entire trim panel off as the instructions mention, you can easily pop the parking brake boot off by hand to access the bolt. My bolt needed 3 full clockwise revolutions to get it within spec (brakes do not drag, parking brake holds car) A...
  9. Parking Brake Adjustment

Brakes were squealing like a virgin on prom night but when changing them this morning they still had over 50% life left. Was hoping that would be the solution but it made no difference to the parking brake function. Will have a go at adjusting them from the instructions funinthesun posted
  10. Parking Brake Adjustment

    Thank you
  11. Parking Brake Adjustment

Has anyone adjusted their parking brake to make it grip tighter? In neutral on a slight decline/incline the parking brake does not prevent my car from rolling. Would roll away if I didnā€™t apply brakes or put in park. Unsure if it came like this or had gotten worse over 50k miles, but Iā€™m just...

  14. Colorado wtb: XL 16" steel wheels

Can confirm 265/75/16 falken wildpeaks are good to go on oem steelies
  15. Flat bottom fishing boat on your Ranger?

Check out almac boat loaders for inspiration. Iā€™ve thought about DIYing something with some rollers on top of ladder racks, but until then Iā€™m just rolling with an inflatable zodiac in the bed
  16. Biggest tires, no lift?

Confirming 265/75/16 wildpeak fit on stock wheels, crash bars in tact etc etc. Eventually lifted ~1.5 but I had no rubbing at stock height
  17. SE Texas

FYI I ended up getting Jeboost at Teq auto solutions to do this. 10/10, would recommend

  19. TOYO Open Country A/T III

D Fresh - all 255/80/17 forum searches lead to you ? Are you still on stock crash bars with no wheel spacers? Now that youā€™ve had them for a few months any rubbing on or off-road? How is clearance with the upper control arms?
