Using the fm or am radio while in Android Auto

How do you change stations on the fm or am radio while in android auto. If I start AA whatever station I have on the radio will be playing but, I can't figure out how to change the station....
This is for a 2019 xlt fx4 with nav

unless you’re asking about getting back to the Ford menu?

if that’s the case, Apple CarPlay has a Ford logo on one of the tiles. I’d assume Android is similar. Press it and it’ll go back to the Ford Sync menu where you can select the audio tab and do what you want there.

Then in the options across the bottom of Ford sync you should see an Android Auto button to return to that service. (I see Apple CarPlay since I’m iPhone).

In the apps menu tap the Ford logo and you can get back to the Sync menu

Or you could disconnect the phone, charge it via the cigarette port instead

Sync 3? Hit the home button to see the display or use the arrow on the steering wheel to advance through the presets.

Tap the little Home Button in the upper left of the screen or on the steering wheel to get back to the radio or HVAC. tap the icon in the bottom menu to return to AA or ACP.

I use the Home button on the steering wheel when needed.

A note: recent Android Auto app breakdowns are showing indications that AA will soon support controlling the vehicles radio stations, but I'm guessing that would require a Sync update to make use of the updated API in AA, something I doubt Ford would be nice enough to provide those of us with Sync3 when they can sell you a whole new Ranger with Sync4 for the feature, if Sync4 even gets it.
