It has been out for 5 or 6 months. When I went through a troubleshooting process with fordpass help line i remember that esn number being there. I'll check that again!

I believe the modem is defective in our 2019 xlt. Cannot connect to ford pass. If I get a new one will it need to be "programed".

didnt do any of that! They checked the software verson and some other stuff that I cannot remember. They did say they were unable to connect after restarting. I may call them again to go through thier TS procedure and ask about what you said.......
