Sorry about this but trying to fall asleep last night it hit me that between the 2nd and third attempt at checking the voltage on the back glass I opened and closed the SLIDING WINDOW 2-3 times. I do not know where the connection is at, I suspect the bottom right corner of the slider, but I think that's what the problem was. I never ever open it except to carry something really long. Checked it this morning and it's still good. What do you think?

Yes, that could very well be the problem. The slider rear window has its own separate power feed and it could have had a loose connection to the glass grid lines. Opening the slider may have cleaned up the connections to the glass.

Not the best pic, but it gives you an idea on what the feed looks like.

I would have to physically look but it appears the wire harness moves with the slider as you slide it open and the (left end) attaches to the fixed glass under the trim.
At least you have it narrowed down, I actually forgot about the slider being heated by a separate connection.
So, something in this short run has a bad connection
