If that is worth the oily engine to you then by all means. Not to me.
Maybe it will keep the plugs from rusting? BTW, I am on your side. If you have to implement some kind of fix for something that was supposed to be beneficial, it's not worth the trouble.

That’s why you use the wrist band to stop it. What kind of coffee do you drink ? you seem kinda Cranky.
Just trying to undetstand why someone would spend money on something that does little or nothing and is technically illegal to use. And, have to put a sock on it to keep it from getting your engine dirty. If you like it, well I quess that works for you.

To answer your other question I drink freshly ground and brewed coffee, various brands and flavors. I am not cranky, just logical about what I do with my money and my truck.

Cause I Like it..

Fom the mustang forum on Ecoboost 2.3

“High boost situations are generally brief so the focus is mainly on when the engine is under vacuum which makes up most of it's time.
The crankcase pressure can overwhelm the stock cleanside PCV though if you have increased boost pressures because of a TUNE and drive hard for extended periods of time.
The valve cover vent I suggested will alleviate the crankcase pressure spikes during boost and reduce stress on the gaskets (the timing cover gasket is a common one to fail), it has a check ball valve so it is sealed while the engine has negative crankcase pressure avoiding any check engine lights, UPR sells one as well.”

Any change in engine behavior or benefits you noticed?
I drag race so my performance is from the tune, no engine problems since I bought It in 2019. I run a lot of torque (388 lb/ft)
so I think the vent is beneficial

The only way to know for sure, is with do this with the vent and without, see if anything shows up on the graph, not in feelings.

Who cares, if at all there is a change it would be miniscule. If they don’t like their results, just take it off.
Im done with this subject.:)

I like to pretend the spitting of oil helps with any potential "fuel in oil" threads I read about.

To imagine the EcoBoost 'spitting' as a display of power is pretty funny.

"You see that oil all over the motor? That's sweat from all teh HORSEPOWER!"

It does not bother me in the least what other people do to their vehicles and their money. Only trying to understand what measureable gain this particular modification provides for the obvious extra housekeeping it involves. So far I have seen no evidence of any other than self proclaimed personal happiness. Not enough to spend my money on. The fact that use on the street violates federal emissions laws of no concern of mine, other than a healthy concern for the enviroment.

So unless anyone has some documented evidence of some significant performance benefit. I'm out of here. Be happy!
